Transactional Text Messaging API
Add reliable SMS and MMS to your applications with simple HTTPS requests.
Send confirmation numbers, promo codes, reminders, and account alerts from your own systems. Choose the JSON HTTP API for SMS and MMS, or the standard MM7 interface for MMS. All messaging APIs, including MM7, are available on paid plans.

Why Use the Skycore Messaging API?
One integration lets your systems message customers the moment something happens: an order ships, an appointment is booked, or a code needs to be verified. Delivery reports come back to your server, so you always know what was delivered.
Built for Developers
Simple JSON requests, complete reference documentation, and responsive developer support take you from first request to production quickly. Teams in e-commerce, healthcare, financial services, logistics, and customer engagement build on Skycore messaging.
Key Developer Features

A straightforward HTTP interface for standard or personalized text messages, built for transactional notifications where speed and reliability matter. POST a JSON request with three parameters:
- from: your short code, toll-free number, or 10-digit long code
- to: the recipient’s mobile number, with country code
- message-text: the text of your message
Optional parameters check that the recipient is subscribed to a campaign, replace links with tracked short links, and report delivery through postbacks.
Common uses: two-factor authentication and verification codes, appointment and billing reminders, delivery updates and order confirmations, receipts, account alerts, promotional offers, and customer service follow-ups.

Send images, video, audio, GIFs, contact cards, and calendar invites directly to your customers’ phones.
- HTTP (JSON) API: send MMS in a single request, or save an MMS template once and send it many times with personalization.
- MM7 interface: the industry-standard SOAP protocol for application-to-person MMS, used by mobile network operators and aggregators. Skycore supports MM7 versions 5.3.0 and 6.8.0. MM7 documentation.
Both interfaces support outbound MMS, inbound MMS from your customers, and delivery reports.
