Design your Pass colors, logos, labels, fonts, and layout. Store your template for quick editing or replicate a Pass template you previously created to quickly build new campaigns. Drag and drop Pass templates into email campaigns, SMS campaigns and mobile web pages. When the passes are generated you can automatically combine data from your own system with the pass templates in real-time.
Passes can be delivered through Email, SMS/MMS, Mobile web or a Companion application. Our pass generator was built to scale for high throughput Pass generation to embed unique Passes into each Email or SMS/MMS message sent. Passes can also be embedded into mobile web pages or downloaded into an application. We expose APIs so that your systems can trigger pass delivery or download or update the passes you have already delivered with new information.
The Pass Management console allows you to monitor the number of pass installations for each pass template as well as pass update information for each pass. You can manually search, revoke or update passes as needed. You can review information about each pass such as location relevance or through what channel or campaign it was installed.
Pass workflow automation allows you to trigger other actions within the platform or to your systems when passbook events occur. If the Pass is linked to an email address or phone number you can trigger email or SMS auto-responder upon certain actions such as installation or uninstallation of a pass. You may also trigger a notification to your own system such as activating or linking a Pass ID number in your back end to a customer profile.
All passes need to be signed with an Apple-issued certificate to be installed by Passbook. While Passes should only be signed by the brand or entity distributing the pass, we provide a shared certificate for companies without an iOS developer account or doing a pilot. If you have an active iOS Developer account from Apple you can use your own Apple Pass Type certificate for signing passes as they are generated and delivered by our server on your behalf. Our account management team will walk you through the certificate creation process to ensure your Passes are compatible with an existing or future companion app.
